 CLAVAM DT : 

                       clavam DT is a type of antibiotic medicine.  It is generally made up of 2 components EX –  1/ DISPERSIBLE  AMOXICILLIN, 2/  POTASSIUM CLAVULANATE . It helps treat bacterial infections of the nose, throat, lungs, chest, skin and urinary tract. 

               what is Amoxicillin? 

                            Amoxicillin is a penicillin group antibiotic. It has strong antibacterial activity, that is it penetrates the cell wall of bacteria and kills bacteria.

                         

                  What is potassium clavulanate?

                             The bacteria that amoxicillin is fighting produce an enzyme called betalactomas enzyme, which destroys the effectiveness of amoxicillin, For this reason potassium clavulanate is used, which requires these enzymes.

                               For this reason, Amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate are used in Clavam DT, so that it can work properly in the patient's body.

         

             

       In which disease it is used :

                             It is usually used to prevent infection if it is cut anywhere, irritation or pain in the urinary tract, bacterial infection in the chest-lungs, sore throat, etc.

             

       Use and doses :

                           It depends on the patient's age, weight and disease, according to doctors.  It is usually taken 2 times a day in the morning and at night after eat with normal water.  Besides, after seeing the problem of the disease, doctors also give this medicine along with other medicines.

       Side effects

                            If it is consumed in excess, it can cause various side effects such as vomiting, skin rashes and body aches.
